The cazuela is the workhorse of the Spanish kitchen and one of the most versatile pieces of cookware. Use as a frying pan on top of the stove or as a casserole dish in the oven.
Before first use, season your cazuela:
- Soak in water for at least 4 hours
- Fill your cazuela with water
- Place in a cold oven
- Bring up the heat low and slow to 350 degrees F for 3 hours
