Lemon and Olive Chicken

1/4 t saffron
1 t ground ginger
1 t paprika
1 t cumin
1/2 t turmeric
2 lbs. chicken breast, cubed
1/2 onion, chopped
1 1/2 c pitted olives
1/2 c raisins
1 sliced lemon

Make a dry rub of 1/4 tsp saffron, 1 tsp ground ginger, 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp cumin, and 1/2 tsp turmeric. Rub all over cubed chicken and marinate overnight. Brown chicken with chopped onion in cazuela. Add 1 1/2 cups pitted olives, 1/2 cup raisins and 1 sliced lemon. Cover and cook over medium heat for 35-40 minutes.
